Chamomile Calm

Designed specifically to help my daughter with the dreaded blemish attack, I created this soap with oils, butters, and essential oils specifically chosen to brighten, and aid in the restoration of facial skin. Chamomile Blemish Be Gone is specifically designed to be a facewash bar soap and is sold in a smaller size for that reason. The fresh scents will also gently wake you up while you handle this daily chore.

Ingredients: 

Tallow: Since it’s rendered animal fat, tallow is incredibly similar to the chemistry of our own skin. So, when issues like dryness, acne, or eczema arise, tallow can soothe the skin and provide the exact mineral requirements needed for optimal healing.

Olive Oil: The vitamins and other antioxidants in olive oil may fade scars by helping skin cells to regenerate. It is said to have anti-inflammatory properties and some believe it may banish acne, hydrate skin, and protect from future damage.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is high in lauric acid, which helps kill the bacteria that cause acne. Oleic acid might also be beneficial since it can prepare your skin for other products that you may use to reduce acne, like salicylic acid.

Mango Butter: Mango butter is lightweight, non-greasy, and non-comedogenic (meaning it won’t clog your pores). It is also antibacterial and can help soothe acne inflammation. Not only can it help nourish acne-prone skin, but it might also reduce acne breakouts by signaling the skin to start producing less sebum.

Castor Oil: Having antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, can be helpful in reducing acne. Ricinoleic acid can inhibit growth in the bacteria that cause acne. Castor oil is also rich in other fatty acids, which can enhance smoothness and softness.

Colloidal Oats: These can reduce redness and skin irritation to soothe and relieve skin disorders, such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Proven anti-aging and reparative properties for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Provides skin moisture and hydration with its potent emollient properties. Acts as a mild exfoliant that can help brighten skin.

Blue Chamomile EO: Chamomile has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties that can reduce redness and inflammation, and it can also help to manage acne-prone skin.

Cedarwood EO: Cedarwood oil has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal properties that can alleviate skin irritations and conditions. Packed with antioxidants, the oil is said to help improve the appearance of dull skin and balances the skin’s production of excess oil, preventing breakouts and diminishing blemishes.

Lavender EO: Lavender essential oils support the production of hormones and have been proven to reduce levels of stress hormones, and gently cleanse the skin without stripping it of moisture, allowing its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties to combat pimples and skin irritation. It’s also anti-microbial and antibacterial, and it may prevent and heal acne.

Tea Tree EO: Tea tree oil is a popular choice because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It’s thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. It may even help to prevent and reduce acne scars, leaving you with smooth, clear skin.
